Life in Aussie

People used to say that even when things change, something will always stay the same. I do suppose that living here does prove it a little. However, the feeling of nostalgic does not go away easily, I do miss home...The laughter...The food...The Internet...The People especially

If anyone needs a translation for the title...its literally:
(Hey...look, that's Byakuya...not right?)

Wondering why would I say so?
P/s: There will be excessive Bleach image used.

Prologue:
Yi Siang would be the main character...I think?

But...
Honestly haven't seen this type of joke in Bleach for a long time...

This art is nicely drawn...

Anyhow, first and foremost...
HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!
OOI YI SIANG!
Oh and...apparently its our Uncle Andrew's Birthday as well.

He would be our "landlord/guardian".

Presents, Indo mee box which contains...indo mee!
and

Toilet papers!

OK...back to the main part of the story...
Byakuya's 6th division Captain's haori was sighted during the occasion!

No...it's not him...it's not even a he
But then again...I totally forgot who was the captain of the 6th division when I saw those clothes.

Sigh...Yi Siang.

May the Faith be with you...Ops...I mean Force

Everyday in college is quite fun.
Just that today is even better due to my drama teacher being sick.
Don't get me wrong, I like drama and the teacher.

"Get Well Soon Rosey".

On the other hand.

Leaving drama students alone is bad idea...We "were" suppose to memorise the script for monologue but...we hot-blooded students can never do that without supervision of tutors.

Truth(non existence choice) or Dare in session.

Forgive the quality and the shaky videos...my hands shakes too much with my phone.

Part 1: Amy and Darrel (did I spell his name right?) sort of dancing

Part 2: This is a personal favourite...too bad it takes too long to start the show.
Jack and Ivan(the pole) dancing.

Part 3: Wei Lun and Connig (I admit I am bad with names and spellings) strip tease (relax...)

It felt kinda wrong to post these but...I am only human, how can I resist my own desire...

This is not a victim of dare(again)...just a victim of dress-ups
Now this is what I call impressive, (S)he really looks like a really old granny.
I really wanted the group photo though...with him smoking...haha

This is pure (cruel) fun...
That would be Amy...and her bag up there...

With her hand fully stretch...no...its not there yet...

Reason being?(Here is a hint: measure it in metres or centrimetres in some cases...).

That would be for Drama class.
Usually I hate practical for physics, both stress and tons of work.

But this week...we get to play with logic gates!
Ok, fine...this week, our good friend Matthew helped us finish half of the pract few months ago.
Thanks a load again...

But logic gate is seriously fun...

We never get to play with these back in high school...

Haha...yup...it's fun alright...full of wiring...(Believe it or not...its working as it should be).

But the sad part is...Maths 2 is teaching arithmetic and geometric progressions. I never knew how much I hated that chapter...Now I really really do...

And my calculator is being declared M.I.A...sigh...been in service for the 4th year already...gonna miss that old guy.
If it doesn't come back on time...I am replacing it with an ES...which I have longed wanted to use.

No wonder I felt something missing in my last post...

How could I forget the Rally on May 21st...
Honestly, I thought it was a bad joke when I saw the pamphlet saying
"Don't come to class on Thursday"

Yup, 6 Unis in Victoria went on strike on May 21st.

Go Melbourne UNI!(Yea...well, I am not *technically* part of it yet)

Now that's a good saying...

Being on strike is soo big deal here... We can't even try to suggest demonstration back in M'sia.
Here, they have police escort while they rally...

The sad part is...we in college are not involved...so we have class as usual on that day while (most) the uni students have an unofficial day off...

As the week is coming to an end. Loose ties are still not really tied up yet.
At least now I got more time to have a weeny bit of fun.

Went for a movie yesterday with the bunch of fellow friends.

Night at the Museum 2!

The movie was good, but it's the kind of laugh that you will have when you watch a parody movie.
Most of the movie characters are parodies anyway, can't expect anything original.
Overall, I liked it a little better than the first one.

For school issues, I really really learn to dislike the uniqueness of my literature tutor.
The former one was good, I kinda like her style of teaching.
But this current one...I have never heard my classmates swear that many times before...
He made me run around in the library...a huge university library for 3 full hours just to find 10 books which does not make sense.

HOI essay is a huge deal this term, but it's due in 2 weeks... I can hear the sound of freedom coming already~

Freedom~...lalala~
But sadly, after HOI, monologue test is coming up... I figure this would suit people like Mr. Blur but then again... It's a part of English here.

I am wondering if I should post pictures about my EAP class... but somehow, it resembles Mr. Sean Tan's class alot in terms of activity...So I guess I will pass.

On a very very unrelated news:
Interviews have shown that toilets in my accommodation is extremely unrealiable...
Toilets without hot water!! Haha... try showering with cold water when it is only 8-10 degree outside...
So, yea...the toilet that I used to share with 3 persons now is shared with 5 for showering...
Cool eh?
Sigh...I wonder did we pay for the toilet anyway...

Sigh...everybody is complaining about the HOI essay these days.
I am of course part of the everybody.

Was Thucydides a critic, supporter or unbiased towards the Athenian empire.

His own work contradicts his own speeches and we are suppose to take a side and argue.

So somehow we have to "bend even the crooked statement till straight" and "argue till even the dead rises".
Arguing was never my strong point, but this Thucydides guy is really having an latent struggle with personalities...

Eating time :
Have you done your HOI?

Sleeping time:
Dreamland; dream of a random soldier in the Peloponnesian War.

Morning:
HOI! wake up la...late for classes de!!

While I have no idea how Zombie spreads in reality...
I have no idea how in the world zombie cases spread in Albert House either.

I think it was 2 weeks(?) ago

Me innocently in front of the computer...looking for games to pla
y.. at GameFaqs and I stumbled upon this...

"Plant vs Zombies"...
What the hell is this...rating is incredible.

So I went and tried it.

Looks silly?...Wait till you see...

Gameplay screenshot.
Childish enough? I USED to think so...

Basically it's a TD game...and I am quite fond of such games. So I played on.

However....that proven to be a mistake...my mistake.
I ended up spreading this epidemic to a lot of people staying with me!!

Comments from infected victims contradict before and after playing.

Before:

Human A: What kind of childish game is this...
Human B: Graphic is...plain.
Human C: What's so fun about planting?

After:

Infected A: This game is quite fun...
Infected B: Looks cute...
Infected C: *Busy planting more plants*

The addiction is somewhat worse than drugs.
Even looking at someone else playing may induce addiction...
Vaccines have not been discovered yet and it spreads through touch and sight; perhaps even just by hearing!!

Apparently though, this has proven to be a world-issue as well.

In present:

Top 2nd PC game...just under WoW

Top 7th Game in the whole GameFaqs and Top 1!? Wanted FAQS

I suggest anyone with too much free time...or just want a new game to play
Go on and try
But be warned...You might turn infected before you even realised.
Only a few have successfully resisted it...by not looking at all.

*Brains~*

Ah...Why...Why...Why...

HOI essay is due 3 weeks...and I haven't even started yet~!

Why didn't we learn The History of Peloponnesian War in detail back in Sejarah...then I don't have to read this damn thick book.Even the words are small enough to hurt my eyes.

I do admit the book is quite interesting...but I don't have the time to read it...

EAP presentation tomorrow is about non-verbal communication.
I hate presentation.

So does this picture tells anything?
(Wonder who this is...)

On the other hand, weather is getting stable now which is a good thing.
Everyday full of work isn't though.

Let's hope that this ends quickly...

I really wonder how is form 6 nowadays...
I hope they make it 7.40am to 4pm...muahahaha!!!

*work work*...

May 10 2009,

(Probably) the first Mother's day I ever remembered thanks to a couple people constantly reminding me.

But like all the other years, I didn't get her anything.

Sorry Mum!Wow, it's more readable than I thought it would.
(thanks Google search, for the image)

That was totally last minute work, but it didn't feel complete without it that's all.
It's not in the family to celebrate any of these days, and I soon learn to forget.

Mum,
I promise you that I won't let you down,
as you are always supporting me so that I won't drown
in this sea of light and darkness,
you taught me never to frown
when in anger or sadness.

You told me to live on for my own sake,
Regret not what happen in the previous state,
But how could I not remember those,
everything that you have done
and all those things you have gave,
especially this life filled with love.

For this, allow this son of yours to once again wish you, mum.

Happy Mother's Day!

P/s: How can I forget,
Happy Going Back to Schools!

I hardly got time to do peace and quiet blogging these days.

Something came out as surprise is, Albert House owner Mr. Andrew gave me a box of chocolate as present...and from his tone, he thought that nobody remembered my birthday! Haha...He must never find this blog or I am probably as good as dead.

Besides that,
Autumn here is really feeling like autumn

Feels like some scene out of some movies...
But it's just the park that I walked past everyday.
It's so beautiful when you have the time to stop and stare.

Hm...what else,

I got accepted in MHS! again...
But according to Andrew (2009), school changed a lot...made me curious enough to interview more people when form 6 starts.

Life isn't getting any less hectic... looking at work and more work everyday. I am sure getting stressed out and fallen ill.
Oh well, I did expect to get sick sooner than this but the timing is seriously bad for the studies.

On the other hand, term 2 kinda uncovered a different side of college. The side that I have been expecting since I came. So is my room, getting turned upside down due to lack of time to clean it up.

Last but definitely does not belong to the least,
A gift well prepared from friend.
Hand-woven all the way from China.
I am not really the handicraft type but this is
Seriously nice....
Thanks "Good Good"(I can't help it...Sorry...haha)
I will cherish this gift.

P/s: I really would wanna know, how come my birthday this year revolve around food?

Dinner with my sis (I am soo going back there one day),
Wine (I won't miss it till winter but I miss my Dad...memories of drinking together),
Buffet dinner (I miss Japanese Buffet back in M'sia),
Cake (I miss the "birthday" cake...so nice. Made me miss the cake Mum used to bake),
Chocolate (adding to my already loaded collection),
Another dinner coming up.

I know I am seriously underweight but...eating makes me homesick...
Not saying food here is bad, but kinda reminds me of spending time eating with my family.
Ahhh... Homesickness come and goes...

I promise I won't look back in life anymore when I came here.
But every time the words said by dad before my flight came back to me
"Go enjoy yourself to the fullest in Australia, it's your last chance".
I really look back and wonder "Erm, dad, are you for real???"

Monday was officially my birthday, so it's buffet at Crown.Left to Right: Justin, Lu Ter, Jun Zhi, Guo Liang, Me, Matthew, Edwin and Sean. The Gang.(Stupid camera...) Poor Matt eh?

Appetizing?
I got tagged as the sauce in facebook...Who got the oyster?Very much for us surely,Yea...fool on...(I didn't see anything)

Believe it or not...the thing he's sitting on (lamp post) can be retracted back into the ground...

When College Students got nothing better to do...
We....(apparently, the theme is E.m.o)
become Cam Wh*res haha...

Thanks a WHOLE bunch Guys.

Ah...So busy this week as well
Damn heck a lot of assignments.
Now...
From the opposite side of the house:
Nicely drawn eh?

I almost read Wie Lee on the top...
Anyhow, to sum it up,
the cake is mouth-watering,
the art is amazing,
the card is gratifying,
but most importantly, it's the intentions that is

Heart warming.

Hm...I hope this is all for Monday...oh wait...one more camera.

Ugh...been a while seem I drank under an empty stomach... Sorry dad... I broke my promise.

But hey, I am legal already...Haha... Thanks a lot guys, it's the best birthday I could wish for.

"Tea" in new packaging.

which needs a cork screw to open.

which sparkles in the light... Seriously, it's tea.

Before:

After:Ah...wi...I mean tea got such powerful effects on humans.

But under curiosity, I made a huge blunder...
Anyhow, Thanks guys.

I won't forget this 18th Birthday ever.
Defying all rules is the only rule a Malaysian have no matter where we are.

But somehow, this has taken quiteeee...a... sssseriousss...toll on me...
I finally understood why my dad kinda forbid drinking under empty stomach...

P/s: Sorry Edwin, I kinda... stuck something of yours into my com until I can find a small
screwdriver!!!.

Besides that is... Thanks greatly to my dear elder sister. Her $100 funding which actually came from the ONE source... came at the best timing. My wallet was near empty.

Something off topic:Malaysia Boleh! sampai di Melbourne.
Wonder how much is their annual revenue...
Quite BOLEH SUPPORT I hope...
