Somewhat many peoples are complaining/stating that I look depressed and down lately.
I do admit I am a little anti-social these days.
Loads of essays, post-exam stress and swine flu...
Although swine flu is not in Victoria yet... but somehow it felt creeping closer than ever.
Being in college in a crowded city does not help at all when it comes to epidemic.
Not to mention it's the perfect weather to get a flu these days.
Who can I turn to for help?
Friends?Family?God?
Maybe I will just laugh it all out someday.
Results so far are as expected...Nothing to complain, nothing to praise...
I got all the time in to get emo until coming Monday I guess...the day that marks both the beginning and the end.
Official celebration was yesterday but I got kinda brain shock so I can't post it...
I know something u will regret not wishing for...
Presenting the torture device...
Start unwarping... 2104 hours. Mission starts.
"You done yet mate? Its 9.10 already"
Fast Forwarding Memory to a More Recent One.
2118 hours.
Under unspecified request....
This picture should be interested by some.
I didn't notice it earlier but...those stripes made him look like a firefighter...
O... Otanjobi-wa omedeto gozaimasu Jayden-kun.
Well, you might not be Japanese but wishing you in any other language just isn't my style. I can copy the whole list if you wish so though. Birthday Boy gets the saying anyway,
Fresh from the phone...or not,
Why aren't you wearing yellow?...Nvm...
I wish you a fantastic year ahead in your both your college and life,
18 only comes once, celebrating it with the Albert House mates will be an experience,
which hopefully will remain in
your heart, so long as it ever beats;
your mind, as long as it could be;
your memories, stored deep within your thoughts and
when you finally remember it back one day,
Think of how many trees got cut down for those papers stuck on you and to warp your 18(!) layers present box AND that gigantic card with all wishes on the memorable day of 28th April 2009!!,
Sigh...poor poor trees. So much for Green Team huh?
Just kidding,
(Newspapers were used to warp the present...we ran out of budget for gift papers). So no (extra) trees were harmed in the production of the warping...maybe...
Special Thanks to the rest of the mates.
~A lone Blogger's way of wishing you Happy Birthday! Jayden~
Somethings will never change no matter how old we are. The nostalgic feeling of going back to school or in my case college.
Ah...exam results, more practical works and assignments along with essays is coming up. Wonder why I hate term 2 again?..
At least we can get our brains back to working. My brains rusted a whole lot during the weeks.
Rusting of the brain requires two conditions.
Full enjoyment + lack of studying results in loss of data stored in the brain during term 1.
Or is it just because of the spine chilling weather these days... I am tempted to wear my winter clothes already.
Good thing (hopefully) getting it back won't be that hard but the weather will only get colder from now on. I miss the warmth is M'sia but not the hot times though...My dad was complaining it's hot back there already, so I think I got the better end.
Oh, and everyone is (finally) back from home trips, so life really really would pick up the pace now.
I miss my holidays.
One final time before I get back to work.
*yawn*.
Classes gonna start next week!...
I don't deserve to complain anymore after all the complaining about being bored during the weeks.
But not being satisfied to every single thing is what being human is all about. We are never satisfied with anything.
But...but...homework is still at point 0% done.
Most of the crew went to Phillip Island yesterday for probably the last outing for the holidays.
Due to some reasons, I did not went along.
So...
As Intelligent Beings of This World...
How can we lose in a posing contest?
Unacceptable isn't it?
Well, technical work is my speciality and that notebook is freaking new... How can I not get my hands on it...
Configuring it to work the way I wanted took a couple hours already.
(Anyone notice the Left4Dead credits?). What you expect I was configuring?
Final side note: I didn't realise there were a couple other bloggers staying with me. Hahaha, oh
well, better late than never. Links are up and running.
Holidays brings another thing to Albert House...Poverty...
For the first time since I came here...my wallet is totally empty with $0...
and I still owe $14 dinner.
People owe me $60...He also owe others few hundred...don't even remind him why...
Someone which he owes to...owes another people $100...Don't ask please.
I ran out of money in a week time...I kinda wonder why...
In other words...we are all heavily in debt.
Poverty Situation 1: In a Japanese Restaurant.
*Staring at menu*
M: What to eat for dinner?
WL: No money la...budget dinner only...full entree
M: Ok, I share with you. This plus that...plus that...
WL: Say, how we gonna pay for crepe later?...
M: Uh oh...recount.
Situation 2: In a convenience store.
M: What can I buy with $2.60?
WL: *Points at chocolate bars*. Those or chips
M: Chips is $2.70. Borrow 10cent.
WL: Uh...got change for 5?
GL: Take this $2.20 la...get a bigger packet
All: *Stares at the bigger packet*. $4.90. Uh...who got 10 cent more?..
I am sure (hopefully) things will get much much better when class starts. Maybe not really for me. I am seriously broke this week.
Holidays is always fun... Unless you are in Melbourne staying in a student accommodation with nothing to do everyday...
Everyday it's watch movie...read books...play games. Life is getting a little repetitive.
I still refuse to touch my homework, just don't ask why yet.
At least lunch with my sister was far more interesting than what I would have foreseen.
Lunch in the dim sum place yesterday clearly made me realise the importance of Cantonese in Melbourne.
Not saying that I don't understand but...I bet someone would beg to differ.
Hopefully "somebody" would start learning it a little quicker before university starts or else it's going to be one-sided talk of gibberish.
GooD LucK then, Miss Gwee. You have about...10 months...
Went to the Melbourne zoo yesterday with a couple of other friends from College.
A tutorial friend from China is kind enough to visit me and my friend over for dinner..
Admittedly I am starting to miss home cooked food that does not fluctuate from extreme salty/sweet to tasteless.
Brunch was bacon with added salt...or something made it extreme salty.
I can tell that she spent
a lot of time preparing...
These...
Itadakimasu!
The food was great...Reminded me of home and especially dad's cooking...sigh...
Leftovers...Haha, well we all got small stomach so...
After dinner is socialising and we found out that she is a drummer, Chinese drum of course
She does look natural in
those clothes,
really does fit her...
Last but certainly not least, picture sessions.
Chieng Yee
(I still can't spell her name without referring..ops?)
